Nose SurgeryWIDE NOSE (OSTEOTOMY)

wide nose

A wide nose is caused by a low broad nasal bridge or bone, which can affect the attractiveness of the eyes. It can also be more noticeable because the nose is located at the center of the face. Usually the width of bridge can be reduced using osteotomy. This method is effective in making the bridge look slim and defined.

Osteotomy can benefit

  1. 1. People with wide nasal bridge
  2. 2. People with thick nasal bones

How is Osteotomy performed?

There are various methods for reducing the width of nasal bones, but the most effective method is osteotomy, which literally means “cutting of the bone.” This surgical method breaks the nasal bone on each side and re-arranges it. When hump removal is performed together, it maximizes the effect of improving the appearance of the nose. If necessary, an implant can be inserted to raise the bridge.
