What makes JK Rhinoplasty special?

JK Rhinoplasty uses a wide variety of surgical methods and the most suitable surgical method will be determined by our professional nose specialists after a close assessment.

  1. a. Nasal Septal Cartilage
Nasal Septal Cartilage is harvested from the septum of the nose. This is the most frequently used autologous material for tip correction.
  2. b. Ear Cartilage
Ear Cartilage is harvested from the ear, leaving no visible scars or changes in the ear shape. This cartilage is used for reshaping the nose tip.
  3. c. Costal Cartilage
Costal Cartilage is harvested from the rib, leaving a 2-3cm scars. This cartilage is very strong and is generally used when there is not enough septal or ear cartilage.
  4. d. Dermis Fat
Dermis Fat is harvested from the buttocks, leaving no visible scars. Dermofat has no side effects, but can be absorbed by the body. It is usually used supplementally during a revision rhinoplasty.

  1. a. Silicone
Silicone is commonly used for bridge augmentation. It can effectively maintain the bridge shape and be easily removed if any complications occur.
  2. b. Gortex
Gortex is softer than silicone implant and causes less capsulation around the implant.

Allogenic Tissue

  1. a. Allogenic Cartilage
Allogenic Cartilage is harvested from a donor셲 rib. It is a safe and effective material to use.
  2. b. AlloDerm
AlloDerm is derived from natural tissue. It is usually used in tipplasty and dorsal augmentation.
  3. c. For Men
The surgical methods and materials used for men and women are the same; however the desired results can be different. JK셲 surgeons have a vast experience working with male patients and we prioritize an individual expectation.
